Texas
Hold’em is a game in which players attempt to make the best
five-card hand from his/her available seven cards (Two-Hole
Cards/Five-Community Cards). Each player is dealt two cards
face down. Five community cards are then dealt face up in
the center of the table, for use by all players. Players
may use any combination of their two cards in addition to
the five community cards to make the best five-card poker
hand.
Before
the dealer deals any cards, the first two players clockwise
from the dealer button must place blind wagers. After the
dealer deals the first two cards, players may call the
blind, bet, raise, or fold. Those players who are required
to post blinds have the option of raising on the first
betting round. The dealer then deals three cards face up on
the table. These cards are called “the flop”. Beginning
with the first player clockwise from the dealer, each player
may check, bet, call, raise, or fold. The dealer will then
deal a fourth community card, called “the turn” in the
middle of the table, which is followed by yet another round
of betting. Finally the, dealer deals a fifth and final
card referred to as “the river” which is followed by one
last round of betting.

After
the final betting is complete, each player will select the
best five cards from their hand according to the following
